Kendall Alley
Alley grew up in Salisbury, NC, and attended Clemson University on a football scholarship, earning a BS in Administrative Management and a Master’s in Business Administration while being a 3 year letterman and member of Clemson’s 1981 National Championship Team.
After leaving college Alley began a 36 year banking career at C&S Bank of SC which became part of Bank of America. In 2000 Alley transitioned to Wells Fargo as the president of the SC Bank. Alley then moved to Atlanta, GA to be the state president of Georgia. He spent his last thirteen years as president of the Charlotte Region, Wells Fargo’s largest employee market. Alley was responsible for Business and Retail Banking and led Wells Fargo’s community and employee initiatives. During his time in Charlotte Alley served on numerous boards to include the YMCA, Charlotte Sports foundation, the Foundation For The Carolinas, and the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce which he chaired in 2018. Additionally, he served on the Charlotte Hornets Owner’s Committee and was the executive leader of the Wells Fargo Championship for the Company.
Since entering retirement, Alley continues as Chairman of the Board of the Wells Fargo Championship. In addition he is one of the founders of Tiger Impact, Clemson University’s purpose driven NIL Collective, and a partner in the restaurant ownership group for the Carolina’s franchise of Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux.
Alley currently resides in Charlotte, NC with his wife Karen Humphries Alley, and has two sons, Zac and Trent.
Jason Cipriani
Jason Cipriani is Co-Managing Partner of Corrum Capital Management LLC and is a voting member of the firm’s Investment Committee. Prior to founding Corrum Capital, Jason was at Bank of America with responsibility for the company’s alternative investments portfolio. Jason previously held other roles within Bank of America’s Global Corporate and Investment Bank. Prior to joining Bank of America, he held various corporate finance positions at Paramount/VIACOM, Time Warner Cable and PL Industries.
Jason currently serves on the Boards of Directors of AvAir LLC, Carolous Aviation Leasing LLC, RGCX, LLC and Wings Capital Partners LLC, all Corrum Capital portfolio companies. He is active in the Charlotte, NC community and in 2008 was named as one of Charlotte’s 40 Under 40 by the Charlotte Business Journal. Jason is a founding board member and Chair of The Gift of Adoption of the Carolinas and is a member of the Board of Directors and Treasurer of HoopTee Charities, Inc. He previously served on the Board of Trustees of Roof Above (formerly the Urban Ministry Center).
Jason received a BS from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Malcomb Coley
Malcomb is a client serving Partner with over 31 years of experience with Ernst & Young LLP. In addition to his leadership roles, Malcomb serves as the US Central Presiding Partner. As such he’s a member of EY’s leadership team and sits on the firm’s Global Governance Council, the Americas Advisory Council and the US Partner Principle Council.
He currently serves on the Board of Directors of several organizations including the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance (Chair 2022), United Way of Central Carolinas (Chair 2019), First Tee of Greater Charlotte, Charlotte Sports Foundation, Charlotte City Center Partner, UNCC Belk College of Business Board of Advisors and the Cameron School of Business Executive Advisory Board for UNC-Wilmington. He is also on the Endowment Board for UNC-Wilmington and Friends of Trinity Episcopal School Board. He also sits on the board of Trustees for the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and Queens University in Charlotte. In 2021, Malcomb was appointed to the NC Rail Road Board of Directors by Governor Roy Cooper.
Malcomb has a 31-year career with EY, which began in the Raleigh office. In Atlanta he was a Senior Assurance Partner where he served a variety of both public and private clients in retail and consumer products, mining and minerals, venture capital and insurance.
Malcomb and his wife Tammie have four children: Dana, Adia, Tanna, and DJ. In his spare time, he enjoys running, exercise and golf.
Jesse Cureton
Jesse Cureton is executive vice president and chief consumer officer for Novant Health, a three-state integrated healthcare network of physician clinics, outpatient centers and hospitals with more than $7B in revenue and 35,000 employees. A leader in building innovative consumer and employee experiences in highly regulated industries, Jesse is responsible for Novant Health’s customer interests, including marketing, public relations, community engagement, and Novant Health’s regional foundations.
Joining Novant Health in 2013, Jesse led Novant Health’s system-wide rebrand that successfully unified the organization through a culture of wellness and consumer engagement, focusing on innovative healthcare delivery and community-centric care. Today Jesse continues to lead omnichannel marketing and the communication efforts to share Novant Health’s commitment to price transparency, evolving consumer needs, personalized patient experiences and strategies to achieve health equity.
During the global COVID-19 pandemic, Jesse applied his expertise in fundraising, partnerships and engaging communication strategies to help Novant Health be the trusted resource of information for the communities they serve. His teams hosted pop-up COVID-19 testing centers in communities of color that were disproportionately affected by the coronavirus and distributed nearly 500,000 masks when they were difficult to access. Jesse continues to lead Novant Health’s effort to create awareness and educate the community on the evolving information and available resources critical to keeping the public and front-line team members safe and healthy.
Prior to joining Novant Health, Jesse served as regional executive and managing director for Bank of America’s subsidiary, U.S. Trust. During his 25-year career with Bank of America, Jesse held a variety of roles with increasing responsibility from mortgage account executive to regional president. Following Bank of America’s $3.3B purchase of U.S. Trust, the nation’s oldest trust company, he successfully led the local merger efforts in North Carolina, developed training for more than 2,000 wealth management advisors and implemented tactics that greatly improved staff satisfaction, retention and productivity.
With a particular passion for education, the arts and financial literacy initiatives, Jesse has served on numerous boards, including the Foundation for the Carolinas, Bechtler Museum of Modern Art and Charlotte Center City Partners. Currently, he is Vice Chair of the University of Chapel Hill Board of Visitors and serves on the Executive Committee for the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance. Jesse also is a founding member on Charlotte’s Leading on Opportunity Council, an initiative bringing community, business and education partners together to improve citizens’ economic mobility by removing barriers to education, employment and healthcare.
Modern Healthcare named Jesse one of the Top 25 Minority Executives in Healthcare to Watch in 2018, and in 2017 Black Enterprise Magazine included him as one the 300 Most Powerful Executives in Corporate America. Also in 2017, Charlotte Magazine recognized him as one of 50 Most Powerful People in Charlotte.
Jesse is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Executive Education program in value measurement for healthcare and The Wharton School’s Executive Education Institute program on investments. He earned a Master of Business Administration and a financial planning certificate from Queens University of Charlotte and his Bachelor of Science in Administration of Justice from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Gene Ehmann
Originally from New York, Gene Ehmann moved to North Carolina in his early childhood years and then went on to attend the University of Florida. After graduation, Ehmann enjoyed a lengthy career in finance including the banking industry and the stock market prior to becoming an entrepreneur. He worked with start-ups and a medical software company before deciding to retire. Ehmann has served on the HoopTee Board since its inception. He also serves on the Board of other non-profit organizations and is a long-time supporter of the American Red Cross. Ehmann lives in Charlotte and enjoys golf and traveling.
Sandra Holub
Sandra M. Holub is Chief Executive Officer of the Albemarle Foundation and President of the Albemarle Care Fund. Albemarle Corporation, set up the Foundations in 2006 and 2015 respectively, to create a positive difference in the communities in which we live and operate. Ms. Holub has been responsible for creating, launching, and running the Albemarle Foundation and Care Fund globally since inception.
Ms. Holub joined Albemarle in May of 1988 and has held a variety of positions of increasing responsibility in Engineering, Purchasing, HS&E, Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, Human Resources and Communications. Her well rounded background and knowledge of Albemarle have made her uniquely qualified to lead the efforts of the Albemarle Foundation and Albemarle Care Fund.
Ms. Holub graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis in 1988.
Robert Stevanovski
Robert Stevanovski has co-founded multiple companies over his 30 years in business. Among those companies are Xoom Energy, Anovia Payments, and ID SEAL. He is currently the chairman of ACN, a global marketing company. Robert is also very involved in his community, works with approximately 30 charities on a yearly basis, and believes in to whom much is given, much is required of.
